Turkish contractor Makyol has begun installing the last metal segment of the arch bridge on section 3 of the A13 Sibiu - Făgăraș highway. The bridge spans 164 meters and features a metal arch structure. Currently, two additional arch bridges are under construction on the same section. The overall physical progress of the highway is 52.23%, with a total of 34 structures planned. The project is expected to be completed by 2028 and is financed through the Transport Program, with a total contract value of 6.4 billion lei. The highway will enhance connectivity between Transylvania, Muntenia, and Moldova, benefiting cities like Sibiu and Brașov.
