The rapid expansion of Ghimbav over the past 15 years has prompted local authorities to seek solutions for infrastructure improvements. The main challenge remains crossing the Ghimbășel stream, which separates the new area from the historic center. Currently, there are only two bridges connecting the Florilor neighborhood to the old town, leading to efforts for a third bridge, which is in the bureaucratic phase of obtaining environmental approval. The new bridge will connect Morii street to Ștefan cel Mare street, featuring two traffic lanes and sidewalks for pedestrians. It will be constructed from durable concrete and include measures to prevent erosion of the stream's banks.
