Romanian students will begin their first vacation of the 2026-2027 school year on October 24, lasting nine days. Classes resume on November 2, with the next break occurring during the winter holidays from December 23 to January 10. The ski vacation will vary by county, scheduled between February 15 and March 7, 2027. The official school calendar includes breaks for autumn, winter, spring, and summer, with specific dates outlined for each. The school year lasts 36 weeks, with exceptions for graduating classes, which finish earlier to prepare for national exams.
