Ten traffic surveillance cameras equipped with license plate recognition technology will soon be installed on five county roads in Alba. This initiative by the Alba County Council aims to enhance road maintenance and traffic safety management. The system will also assist the Alba County Police Inspectorate in public safety and traffic management. A tender for the acquisition of this automatic recognition system was launched on October 20, with an estimated investment of 370,000 lei. The cameras will be strategically placed across various locations in the county, utilizing existing poles along the roads. The specific sites include Burzonești, Sântămărie, Războieni, Aiud, and Zlatna.
