Nicușor Dan has officially promulgated a law allowing households registered in the agricultural registry to produce up to 200 liters of traditional alcoholic beverages annually without paying excise duties, provided these are not sold. This law, which was reexamined after initial parliamentary approval, increases the previous limit of 50 liters. The beverages must be for personal consumption and made from homegrown fruits. The law applies to the entire household, not individual family members, and specific implementation guidelines will be established later.
