Transelectrica is advancing two significant energy projects in northern Moldova, including a 400 kV line to connect Romania and Moldova and the longest overhead power line in Romania, Gădălin-Suceava. These initiatives aim to enhance energy security and integrate Moldova into the European energy network. The 400 kV line's construction authorization is underway, with work expected to start by early 2027. The Gădălin-Suceava line, spanning approximately 260 kilometers, will improve energy supply in deficient areas and support renewable energy production.
