Dan Air, a Romanian airline, has filed for insolvency at the Ilfov Tribunal, seeking protection from creditors and debt restructuring. The airline operates regular flights from Bucharest and Bacău, assuring that its flight schedule will remain unaffected. In 2025, Dan Air reported revenues of 224.2 million lei and a profit of 11.6 million lei, despite increasing debts. This marks the second airline insolvency request this year, following AnimaWings, which is also facing financial difficulties. AnimaWings' insolvency request was rejected by the Bucharest Tribunal, but creditor claims will be reviewed separately.
