Her motto emphasized the importance of resistance and living with dignity. Born into a Jewish family in Austria, she opposed the Nazi regime from a young age and was involved in various resistance activities across Europe. After being arrested and imprisoned, she escaped with the help of her comrades. Post-war, she married a fellow resistance member and worked tirelessly to preserve historical memory. She also carried the Olympic torch at 102, symbolizing women's fight for sports rights. A comic series based on her life is set to continue in 2027.
