The goal is to open traffic on two sections of the Transylvania Highway by year-end, depending on weather conditions and final checks. The director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, reported progress on three construction sites, with physical completion rates nearing 100%. The Nădăşelu-Zimbor section is at 99.3%, while Suplacu de Barcău-Chiribiş is at 95.39%. Despite rainy weather affecting asphalt work, construction continues with safety barriers being installed. The completion of these sections would connect 155 km of highway from Poarta Sălajului to Târgu Mureş, plus an additional 26 km towards Borş.
