The concrete rings for the northern section of Metro Line 6 are produced in Buzău, as announced by Somaco Grup Prefabricate. Excavation for this section began on Wednesday, with the TBM "Sfânta Parascheva" starting work between the Brussels and Tokyo stations. This project aims to connect communities and enhance transportation to Henri Coandă International Airport, featuring six new modern stations. The TBM is designed for local geological conditions and is expected to advance approximately 14 meters per day, installing prefabricated concrete rings as it excavates. The entire Metro Line 6 will span 14.2 km with 12 new trains and stations.
