Three sections of the Transylvania Highway (A3), totaling about 85 kilometers, are nearing completion, with hopes for traffic opening by year-end. The Nădășelu – Zimbor segment is at 99.30% completion, but cannot open until the viaducts at Nădășelu and Topa Mică are finished. The director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, inspected the sites, emphasizing the goal of opening all sections by the end of the year, which would connect 155 km of highway. The Suplacu de Barcău – Chiribiș section is at 95.39%, while the Chiribiș – Biharia segment has surpassed 85% completion. If opened, these sections will significantly enhance connectivity in the region.
