Dan Air, a Romanian airline, filed for insolvency at Ilfov Tribunal due to debts exceeding 126 million lei. The company reported a turnover of 224.2 million lei in 2025, with a net profit of 11.6 million lei, despite rising debts. Founded in 2017, Dan Air initially operated flights for other carriers before launching its own routes. The airline continues to operate regular flights from Bucharest and Bacău to various international destinations. This marks the second Romanian airline to seek insolvency recently, following AnimaWings, which has also filed for insolvency.
