A well-known German retail chain, Tedox, is closing nine stores across the country, affecting around 3,000 employees. Five locations have already shut down, with three more set to close by mid-November 2026. The closures are attributed to economic reasons and lease negotiations. Despite these closures, Tedox plans to open a new store in Borken-Gemen in spring 2027, indicating a continued presence in the German market. The company, which specializes in home improvement products, has been operating for over 50 years and is undergoing a restructuring of its store network.
