British renewable energy company RES has signed an asset management contract with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners for the Peștera II wind farm in Romania, which has a capacity of 392 MW. The project, located near Constanța, is under construction and is expected to be operational by 2028, providing green energy for over 500,000 households annually. RES will assist CIP during construction and subsequent operations to ensure long-term performance. In July 2025, RES was appointed asset manager for CIP's Coalburn I battery storage system in Scotland.
