The technical documentation for a new wastewater treatment station at Romcim's Hoghiz cement factory has been submitted for approval. The existing station, operational since 2001, can no longer meet regulatory discharge parameters. The project aims to reduce ammonia nitrogen concentration, enhance reliability, and adapt to variations in wastewater flow and organic load. The proposed technology involves a five-stage treatment process, with necessary equipment installations planned. The investment is estimated at 2,356,212 lei, scheduled for completion in 2027.
