On October 20, students from the National Military College "Mihai Viteazul" in Alba Iulia took over the Invictus Veterans' Relay in Alba Carolina Fortress. They will carry the yellow relay baton to Câmpia Turzii. The handover ceremony occurred in front of the equestrian statue of Mihai Viteazul. The relay is part of a national project honoring Romania's heroes and is in its 13th edition this year, running from October 1 to 25. The event coincides with the celebration of Romania's Army Day on October 25, with participants running and cycling along three routes that converge in Carei, marking the end of national territory liberation in World War II.
