In January 2026, FACIAS urged the Ombudsman to challenge the law that froze pension indexation. They filed a lawsuit against CNPP in March 2026 to enforce annual pension adjustments. In April, they provided a form for retirees to support their legal action, gaining backing from the National Federation of Pensioners' Assistance Houses. FACIAS has been advocating for pensioners' rights since 2021, emphasizing the need for pension increases due to inflation.
