Turkish manufacturer Bozankaya aims to expand its presence in Romania by seeking new public procurement opportunities for trams and trolleybuses, particularly in major cities like Bucharest, Brașov, and Cluj-Napoca. The company has already delivered or contracted 117 vehicles locally. During the "Railway Days" summit in Bucharest, Bozankaya expressed interest in modernizing public transport as local administrations invest in electric fleets. Future participation in tenders will depend on project conditions, technical requirements, financing, and delivery schedules. Bozankaya has previously delivered trams to Iași and Timișoara and is looking for opportunities in tram fleet renewal and electric bus acquisitions over the next three to five years.
