Any contestations could delay the start of construction, which is crucial for meeting funding deadlines. The winning bid is approximately 387 million lei, lower than the estimated 467 million lei. The project aims to improve a deteriorating road section, enhancing access to tourist areas in the UNESCO Geopark. The investment is funded by the Regional Program South-East 2021-2027, with a 2% co-financing from Buzău County Council.
