Manfred Weber was re-elected as the president of the European People's Party (EPP) group in the European Parliament with 93.7% of the votes. This marks his fifth consecutive term since 2014. The EPP also renewed its leadership team, electing ten vice-presidents, including François-Xavier Bellamy and Siegfried Mureșan. The only change in the vice-presidency was the addition of Eszter Lakos from Hungary, replacing Lídia Pereira from Portugal.
