The Bucharest General Council will discuss a twinning agreement with Kyiv to enhance cooperation in various fields. The agreement aims to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the two cities. It includes promoting cultural, educational, and scientific exchanges, as well as cooperation in infrastructure, investment, and environmental protection. Each city will appoint a coordinator for effective implementation and provide mutual support in crises. The cooperation program will be established annually, following a decision made in March 2022 to initiate the agreement process, which has received favorable opinions from relevant ministries.
