Cristela Georgescu discussed her husband Călin's presidential candidacy during the "Marius Tucă Show." She shared their lack of experience and the challenges they faced, including limited media attention and financial resources. Despite these obstacles, she felt it was natural to support him. Cristela expressed her initial frustrations with the campaign's visibility compared to other candidates. She noted the grassroots support Călin received, emphasizing that it was spontaneous and not financially motivated. Although she had low expectations for the election outcome, she believed in the possibility of a miracle. Călin received over 2 million votes in the first round but the elections were later annulled by the Constitutional Court.
