Traffic on DN 2 between Siret and Bălcăuţi has been restricted due to a large number of trucks at the Siret border crossing. This temporary measure was implemented at the request of the Suceava Police. Waiting times for trucks exiting Romania through the Siret border are currently around 160 minutes, influenced by air alerts in Ukraine. The Romanian Border Police has increased personnel and control lanes to manage the situation effectively. They are in constant communication with Ukrainian authorities to adapt traffic management measures accordingly.
