Armata nepaleză recurge la drone pentru a livra ajutoare sinistraţilor
In Nepal, the military is using drones to deliver aid to flood victims due to damaged roads and occupied helicopters. The floods, caused by a glacier collapse, resulted in over 1,367 deaths and thousands missing. Drones can transport essential supplies over distances of 3-4 kilometers, with the army making 10-16 deliveries daily using four donated DJI FlyCart 100 drones. Besides aid delivery, drones are also used for transporting victims' bodies and reconnaissance in search and rescue operations. The challenging geography of Nepal makes drones a faster and more cost-effective solution.
