Giorgio Armani passed away in September 2022, and his will specifies that the stake should be sold within 12 to 18 months. Preferred buyers mentioned include LVMH, L'Oréal, and EssilorLuxottica, but other significant investors may also be involved. Discussions are expected to take place soon regarding the potential sale, and the company aims to adhere to the timeline set by the founder. Additionally, Armani appointed former Versace designer Dario Vitale as creative director to enhance growth opportunities.
