Arheologii au descoperit cea mai veche epavă din lume, plină cu amfore vechi de 5.000 de ani. „O capsulă a timpului pe fundul mării”
Archaeologists have found what may be the world's oldest shipwreck off the coast of Turkey, dating back 4,400 to 4,700 years. The 10-meter-long commercial vessel carried over 30 storage ceramic vessels, some still containing remnants of their ancient contents. The shipwreck, located near Kekova Island, includes large stone anchors and artifacts scattered underwater. Although the wooden structure has not survived, the distinctive ceramic styles help date the wreck to the Early Bronze Age. Researchers are now investigating the contents of the amphorae, which could include olive oil, wine, or tree resins. This discovery enhances understanding of ancient trade routes and maritime history.
