Argentina, exporturi record de porumb: 10 milioane de tone în doar două luni, pe fondul războiului din Ucraina şi secetei din Europa

Argentina is set to achieve record corn exports of 10 million tons in August and September, driven by a strong harvest and international demand. The country, the third-largest corn exporter globally, expects a harvest of 71.7 million tons, surpassing previous records. Demand from North African countries, traditionally reliant on Ukrainian corn, has surged, with exports to this region increasing significantly. Meanwhile, Brazil's corn exports have declined, benefiting Argentina's market position. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine and adverse weather in Europe have further complicated global corn supply chains, creating opportunities for Argentine exporters.
