Argentina exportă cantităţi record de porumb pe fondul războiului din Ucraina şi secetei din Europa

Argentina is set to achieve record corn exports of 10 million tons in August and September, driven by a strong harvest and international demand. The country is nearing the end of its 2025/2026 harvest, expecting 71.7 million tons, a 20% increase from the previous record. Demand from North African countries, traditionally reliant on Ukrainian grain, has surged, with exports to this region rising by 45% in the first seven months of 2026. Meanwhile, Ukraine's exports are hindered by Russian attacks and drought conditions in Europe. Brazil's declining corn exports also benefit Argentina, as domestic demand in Brazil grows, limiting its export capacity.
