Ardei Kapia din Uzbekistan, vânduți ca fiind din România: ANSVSA a retras peste 15 tone de legume și a dat amenzi de 24.000 de lei

The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) conducted checks on four logistics companies in Ilfov County, leading to the suspension of one company's activities and fines totaling 24,000 lei due to serious violations. Over 15 tons of non-compliant vegetables were withdrawn from the market, primarily due to mislabeling and lack of identification elements. A specific case involved red bell peppers falsely labeled as Romanian but actually sourced from Uzbekistan. The inspections revealed inadequate hygiene in food storage areas, prompting ANSVSA to emphasize its commitment to food safety and traceability.
