Saudi Arabia has joined the offensive against Houthi forces in Yemen, launching the operation "Dawn in Yemen" with 100 fighter jets. The coalition has provided continuous air support to Yemeni ground forces and has reportedly destroyed 324 high-value targets. The operation aims to reclaim territory after Houthi forces blocked a key route connecting Taez to Aden. Yemeni government forces, backed by Saudi air support, have captured significant positions in the strategic Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Houthi forces have previously caused major setbacks for the Saudi-led coalition and continue to threaten Saudi Arabia with regular attacks, including a recent strike that disrupted oil transport.
