A partnership agreement has been signed for a modern aquapark in Sânnicolau Mare, covering four hectares and expected to operate year-round. The project aims to enhance tourism and leisure in Timiș County, utilizing geothermal resources and including various facilities such as pools, slides, and wellness areas. It is preselected for funding under the Regional Program West 2021-2027. The aquapark will accommodate up to 1,000 visitors in summer and 300 in winter, with a focus on renewable energy solutions. The project is seen as a significant economic boost for the region.
