A recent study reveals that nearly half of Romanians run out of money by the end of the month, with 60% lacking a financial plan for the next year. Participation in the Banometru financial education program significantly improves financial planning and savings habits. While only 40% of the general population plans their finances, 67% of Banometru participants do. Additionally, 56% of Romanians manage to save money at month-end, and 82% of program graduates have taken steps to increase their income. The program has reached around 350,000 participants since its launch in 2016, helping them manage debts and improve financial security.
