Aproape întreaga populaţie din Fâşia Gaza nu are un adăpost adecvat înainte de sosirea iernii, avertizează ONU

The UN warns that nearly the entire population of Gaza, around two million people, lacks adequate shelter before winter. Approximately 1.8 million are facing their fourth winter without proper protection against harsh weather. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) highlights the urgent need for materials to build shelters, as many existing ones are in poor condition. The ongoing restrictions by Israeli authorities hinder the entry of essential supplies. With funding for humanitarian aid decreasing, only 17% of winter needs are currently met. The situation is exacerbated by the El Nino phenomenon, which may lead to increased rainfall and further damage to already fragile structures.
