The French Navy seized over 8.6 tons of drugs in the Caribbean and Atlantic Ocean during three operations from October 4 to 13. The operations led to the confiscation of nearly 6.9 tons of cocaine and 1.7 tons of marijuana, in collaboration with other countries. The largest seizure occurred on October 8, when a French military ship intercepted a fishing vessel carrying over 5,292 kilograms of cocaine. Other operations involved the interception of a speedboat and a Venezuelan fishing vessel, resulting in additional drug confiscations.
