Approximately 80% of Local Action Groups (LAGs) have exhausted their available European funds, with some entering a second project submission session. However, rural farmers and entrepreneurs can still find funding opportunities depending on the budgets and measures launched by each group. The availability of funds varies significantly by region, with some areas in southern Romania yet to launch certain funding measures. In contrast, regions like Oltenia and Muntenia have seen 80-90% of their funds consumed. In Moldova, the situation differs by county, with some LAGs already in their second project submission phase, while others have closed multiple calls due to budget exhaustion. It is crucial for interested parties to check the availability of open calls and eligibility criteria before preparing a project.
