In Romania, nearly 70,000 individuals have self-excluded from gambling in the past three years, seeking to avoid addiction. Officially, 58,000 have valid exclusions, predominantly men aged 33 on average. However, a significant number, 6,600, have requested to lift their exclusions, with many returning within 228 days. Some even sought immediate re-entry on the same day they excluded themselves. Players can self-exclude through various methods, ensuring they are barred from gambling venues.
