The average net salary rose to 5,734 lei in June 2026, reflecting a 3.5% increase from the previous year. Notable salary growth occurred in telecommunications and IT, while the lowest salaries were found in services and aquaculture. Compared to ten years ago, the IT sector has seen substantial salary growth, with the average net salary now at 13,474 lei. However, some sectors experienced declines in average salaries due to previous bonuses and lower production results.
