Ukraine has received its eighth tranche of financial support from the EU, amounting to nearly €2.9 billion, aimed at budgetary needs and modernization efforts. This payment is part of the Ukraine Facility program, which finances the country's recovery and reconstruction. For the first time, approximately €800 million comes from the Ukraine Support Loan, a new EU financial instrument. The EU Council approved this payment after Ukraine met ten out of the required conditions for funding, focusing on reforms in various sectors. Overall, Ukraine has received over €32 billion through the Ukraine Facility since its inception, with additional contributions from Norway and Sweden.
