The FAA has mandated inspections of Boeing 737 Max aircraft worldwide due to potential fuselage cracks. This directive affects 471 planes in the U.S. and 1,429 globally. Previous models had similar issues, prompting the need for these inspections. Although no cracks have been found in the Max family, the design similarities necessitate caution. Earlier this year, the FAA also addressed concerns about improperly installed passenger seats in these aircraft. Meanwhile, TAROM has successfully conducted test flights with its new 737 Max aircraft.
