Thousands of Bucharest residents are facing hot water supply issues due to maintenance at CET Sud. 1,395 buildings have inadequate hot water, while 913 have no hot water at all. The situation is linked to annual maintenance and ongoing repairs. The estimated date for normal supply restoration is September 18, when CET Sud is expected to restart. Meanwhile, CET Grivița will resume operations on September 7 to help meet demand in Sector 1, improving supply for Sectors 5 and 6. Additionally, 913 buildings are completely without hot water due to breakdowns and modernization work, with repairs expected by September 4.
