Apple modifică tarifele App Store în UE, pentru a se conforma cu Regulamentul privind Piețele Digitale (DMA) - StartupCafe

Apple has introduced a new commission structure for iPhone apps in the EU, including a 5% fee for purchases via alternative app stores. The changes aim to address disputes with European authorities regarding the Digital Markets Act. Starting October 1, the new rates will replace a more complex system proposed last year. The commission for apps using Apple's payment system will be 26%, while those using their own payment systems will pay 20%. Apps directing users to external sites will incur a 15% fee. Apple claims the new system resolves conflicts with the European Commission and includes child protection measures.
