Apple modifică comisioanele App Store în UE, pentru a pune capăt disputei cu autorităţile europene
Apple has announced a new commission structure for iPhone apps in the EU, introducing a 5% fee for purchases through alternative app stores. The changes aim to address disputes with European authorities regarding the Digital Markets Act. Starting October 1, the new rates will replace a more complex system proposed last year. The company will charge a 26% commission for apps using Apple’s payment system and 20% for those using their own. Apps directing users to external sites will incur a 15% fee. Apple claims this new system resolves conflicts with the European Commission and includes measures for child protection.
