Apple a direcționat 40% din taxele sale globale către Irlanda într-un singur an fiscal
Apple paid $17.1 billion in taxes in Ireland for the fiscal year ending September 2025, accounting for about 40% of its global tax payments. This amount includes €13 billion in back taxes mandated by the EU Court of Justice due to illegal tax reductions. The company has faced legal challenges regarding these taxes for eight years, as Ireland seeks to maintain its appeal as a hub for multinational corporations. Overall, Apple’s global profit taxes reached $43.2 billion, with Ireland's share being 39.54%. The taxes paid could nearly cover Ireland's entire education budget or the costs of the Dublin Metrolink project.
