APIA has concluded the application period for state aid aimed at farmers in the bovine and swine sectors, with over 35,000 requests submitted. The bovine sector received the majority of applications, totaling 35,477 for 742,969 animals, with a budget of 54.4 million euros. The swine sector saw only 234 applications but covers a significant number of animals. The aid amounts to 68 euros per bovine and 11.9 euros per fattening pig. Following administrative checks, payments will be authorized by the end of 2026, with proportional reductions if the total requests exceed the budget.
