Farmers will receive over 150 million lei through the state aid scheme for diesel used in agriculture. APIA has started payments for the second quarter of 2026, benefiting over 15,000 recipients in the plant, livestock, and land improvement sectors. The aid amounts to 2.697 lei/liter for diesel purchased from January 1 to April 6, 2026, and 2.397 lei/liter for purchases from April 7 to June 30, 2026. The largest share of the funds will go to the plant sector, receiving over 127 million lei for 93 million liters of diesel. The total aid for this period is 150,126,356 lei, with payments expected soon. The maximum annual reimbursable diesel quantity is 410 million liters, with 110 million liters accounted for in the second quarter.
