Over 98% of farmers who applied for the 2025 Campaign have received subsidies, totaling over €2.6 billion. The interim Minister of Agriculture, Tanczos Barna, urged APIA to expedite remaining payments and clarify issues for farmers yet to receive funds. Preparations for advance payments for the 2026 Campaign are underway, with nearly half of the classic control sample already verified. The goal is to complete all checks by the end of September. Six counties reported over 99% payment rates for the 2025 Campaign, including Harghita and Brăila. Authorities aim to ensure timely advance payments to support farmers' budgets during high agricultural expenses.
