The APIA announced that advance payments for EU subsidies to Romanian farmers will occur from October 16 to November 30, 2026. Preparations for these payments were discussed in a meeting led by APIA's director, focusing on authorizing as many farmers as possible early in the campaign. The advances will cover 75% of interventions from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and 85% from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. Conditions for these payments are outlined in a recent ministerial order, effective from October 9, 2026, providing essential support for autumn work and farm expenses.
