Apelul medicilor de familie: „Gripa nu așteaptă. Nici noi nu ar trebui”
The National Society of Family Medicine urges Romanians to schedule flu vaccinations with their family doctors before the virus spreads widely. This recommendation targets all age groups, especially vulnerable populations such as the elderly, children, and those with chronic illnesses. Vaccination takes about two weeks to provide protection, making early action essential. The flu can lead to severe complications, including pneumonia and hospitalization, particularly for at-risk individuals. Vaccination not only protects individuals but also helps prevent the virus's spread within families and communities. Despite low vaccination rates in previous seasons, annual vaccination is crucial due to the changing flu strains.
