Citizens are invited to gather daily in front of the Central Arrest in Bucharest to express their peaceful support. Peia argues that preventive arrest should be a last resort and emphasizes the presumption of innocence. Călin Georgescu is currently in preventive detention for alleged organized crime and fraud, with a significant financial claim involved. His assets have been seized, and he faces multiple legal cases, including serious accusations related to destabilizing actions against Romania.
