Nod Makerspace is calling on Bucharest residents to donate 5-liter PET bottles to build a new floating barrier on the Dâmbovița River in Regie. They need at least 80 clean, empty bottles, which can be dropped off at their location. This barrier aims to prevent approximately one ton of waste from flowing downstream each year. Donors will receive a sticker as a token of appreciation. The initiative has previously proven effective in reducing waste in other river sections.
